Shadowfever is the fifth book in Karen Marie Moning's Fever Series.
Plot Summary[]
Mac is distraught Barrons is dead and in her grief comes up with a plan to bring him back to life. To do this she needs to get out of the dimension she is stuck in. She uses Darroc to do this by pretending to be on his side and later attracted to him. When they make it through the silvers she gives in and kisses him to aid her attempt to gain his knowledge and get her hands on the book. Unbeknownst to her Barrons is alive and watching with disgust. She goes on to pretend with LM until he is killed by a hunter possessed by the unsellie book. Mac is then swept away by Barrons alerting her to the fact he is alive. TBC
